That’s right…the Ghostbusters ECTO-1 is now in LEGO form.
30 years ago Ghostbusters was released in the theaters. Like most Gen-Xers, I love that movie. So many great one liners, and of course, Bill Murray.
Now, we have LEGO Ghostbusters! So, what’s in the box? You get the Ectomobile, proton packs, ghost traps and all four Ghostbusters, Peter Venkman, Ray Stantz, Egon Spengler and Winston Zeddemore. They each come with two faces, a normal face and a scared face.
I wish Slimer was included…or at least some ghostly figure.
The good thing about this set is that the possibility exists for future sets. I would love to see a Stay-Puft Marshmallow Man and the Ghostbuster headquarters. Even better? The apartment building where Gozer the Destroyer appeared and of course the dogs.
Just remember: Don’t cross the streams. It would be very bad.
LEGO Ghostbusters and so much more
While Paul & I were at the LEGO store today, there was an offer for a balloon cart if you bought over $75, which we did because we also bought The Eiffel Tower, which is all kinds of awesome and goes with the decor I started collecting many moons ago.
Look how happy that guy is…who wouldn’t be happy holding a balloon? Is it just me or do those balloons look like propane tanks?
So cool!!

It really is! Where others would have nick-nacks and chotchkies, we have LEGOs in our home. 🙂
I loooove Ghosbusters. It was one of the few movies my brother and I could agree on watching together 🙂

Yes! LEGOs are awesome! The only think I like better than LEGOs is Play-Doh.
